less perfection. more authenticity
Beyond the fringe, I'm best known for...
Let’s start with my natural talents: I can hear a song once and immediately memorize all the words. I can walk into a room and know exactly how someone is feeling (I have a crack shot intuition). And, I can write.
Since the other two skills were unlikely to provide a paycheck, it’s writing that led me to a degree in Journalism and my first “real job” as the assistant editor of Oregon Bride Magazine (which is actually how I met Misty! Hey Misty!) From there, writing allowed me to travel the world, reviewing gorgeous locations, meeting incredible people, and eating stupid-good food. Through writing, I’ve been taught the benefit of stepping outside of my comfort zone, the importance of appreciating every opportunity, and to live (gratefully) in every moment.
And it’s writing that has led me to this moment right now.
In the press
Here's the deal
we are what we BELIEVE we are.
God made me a redhead because He thought I should come with a warning label. Ha! I kid. I kid. But for real, tho. I love all animals, but I am a diehard and passionate advocate for dogs. I love Jesus. I sang in a band. I have journaled almost my entire life and I still carry around a paper planner. I lived in Austin, Texas, for a year where I fostered puppies from the local shelter. I moved back to Oregon because I missed the PNW way too much. Oh, and I missed my family (I’m super close to my family), OSU football (Go Beavs!), and the incomparable ambiance of an Oregon fall.
I hold my relationships in high-regard and I value people who are authentic. I can call a bluff so well I’ve been accused of mind-reading. I am a devoted student of human behavior and I think people are fascinating. I believe it’s because of this I have developed the ability to create original, compelling content. (I dig all-things-production, writing film scripts, and being “on set” is my happy place.) I love learning the stories each person has to tell and helping them tell those stories in a super cool way.
